Office Centro Storico Lucca
A 300 m² office in the historic centre of Lucca, with characteristic elements that called for a modern answer rather than a museum-like repetition.
The brief
The building had beautiful vaults, old floors and tall windows, but it did not work as a place to work: poor light, no zoning, nowhere to meet or concentrate.
The approach
The historic elements were freed up and framed with restraint. On top of that we laid a clean, modern furniture plan with clear zones: reception, open desks, meeting and a quiet room. The lighting plan does the heavy lifting — indirect light along the vaults, task lighting at the desks.
The result
An office that honours the building without disappearing into it. Used in the client's recruitment campaign, with images from our own shoot.
