Lifetime Kids Rooms is a Scandinavian brand of high-quality, modular children's beds. Twice a year they returned: for every new bed we built a completely new children's room set.

The brief

New beds kept coming to market, each needing a matching bedroom. A single shoot was scheduled for about four days, with a number of beds per series. There was a decoration budget and the brand often brought its own pieces; the beds were designed by a Dutch designer, with whom I worked closely.

Working from a briefing, with high-quality sets — this is a high-end brand. Children's rooms are the most fun to design: the sky is the limit for imagination, and that was certainly true for this brand. Each bed got its own room, matching the design and quality of the bed.

Lifetime Kids Rooms is a Scandinavian high-end brand with modular children's beds. Children's rooms are so much more fun to create than rooms for adults: in terms of imagination, the sky is the limit — and that was certainly true for this brand. The sets were always of high quality too.

New beds, new worlds

New beds kept coming to market, and for each bed we made a matching bedroom. Per shoot I received a budget for decoration; the brand itself often brought decorations as well. That is how a complete children's room grew around every new bed.
